Microwave
Remove quesadillas from plastic wrap and tray and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high — 90 seconds for cheese / 2:15 for chicken or beef. Allow additional time if heating more than one quesadilla.

Stovetop
Remove quesadillas from plastic wrap and tray. Preheat a nonstick pan to medium heat. Place quesadillas on pan, cover, and heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. Once cheese begins to melt, remove lid and allow to crisp if desired.

Make It Your Own

Our quesadillas are a complete meal on their own, but we’ve been known to occasionally gild the lily. We love gussying up the Oaxaca Cheese style with leftover roasted veggies, cooked chorizo, a smear of beans, avocado slices, or even rotisserie chicken — it’s really a matter of what you have on hand. Of course, no quesadilla is really complete without a delicious accompaniment, whether it’s a bottled hot sauce like Cholula, a homemade salsa, or a quick guacamole.

FAQ

Where can I find Masienda Quesadillas?

Masienda Quesadillas are currently available exclusively at Whole Foods Market. You can find them in the frozen aisle or online on Amazon for Whole Foods.

Is this certified non-GMO?

While the tortillas are non-GMO, not all of the quesadilla’s ingredients have undergone non-GMO verification.

I love your cheese! Where is it from?

Our queso Oaxaca is sourced from Queso Campesino, a family-owned Mexican American cheesemaker in Colorado. All of the cheese is made with whole milk from cows not treated with rBST hormones. Only vegetable rennet is used, which means these cheeses are vegetarian-friendly.
