Remove quesadillas from plastic wrap and tray and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high — 90 seconds for cheese or 2 min 15 seconds for chicken/beef. Allow additional time if heating more than one quesadilla.

Stovetop

Remove quesadillas from plastic wrap and tray. Preheat a nonstick pan to medium heat. Place quesadillas on pan, cover, and heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. Once cheese begins to melt, remove lid and allow to crisp if desired.

FAQs

I love the cheese! Where is it from?

Our queso Oaxaca is sourced from Queso Campesino, a third-generation, family-owned, Mexican-American cheesemaker in Colorado. All of the cheese is made with whole milk from cows not treated with rBST hormones.

Are your quesadillas made in a gluten-free facility?

Our quesadillas are not made in a gluten-free facility, but our production partner follows Good Manufacturing Practices to segregate products, thoroughly clean equipment, and minimize the risk of cross-contamination.

My cheese is melting all over the place! Help!

A cheese river — oh no! Try microwaving for just 60 seconds, then flip the quesadilla over and cook for the final 30 seconds. If your microwave is quite powerful, you may need to reduce the overall cook time. If you’re cooking on the stovetop, the little bit of cheese that spills out and crisps up is known as a costra (or cheese crust) and is considered a delicacy. Enjoy!
